Frequently Asked Questions
fa-question

Q.Do you require insurance?

A.Yes, we do require all tenants insure their stored goods. Our storage office offers insurance through a third party (SBOATI) that you can conveniently pay with your storage rent or you can bring in proof of insurance (IE. Declarations page) when completing the rental paperwork.

Q.What are your gate access hours?

A.Our facility is gated, with 24/7 access for our tenants. Each tenant is given a gate code which allows them to come and go as they please. Tenants can also add additional people who can access their unit. Only those that have the code can enter the premises.

Q.How accessible is your facility to large moving trucks or trailers?

A.Most all of our drive paths cater to large vehicles or trailers. We also store RVs and boats. A copy of your vehicle’s registration will be required to store. If you are renting a particular unit online, and want to know if your truck and trailer can access it, please call our office @ 209-772-0899. We want to help.

Q.Is there someone on site to manage the facility during the office’s non operational hours?

A.We do have an onsite manager. The onsite manager can view the 24/7 surveillance camera feed from their apartment, as well as from the office.

Q.What specials are you offering?

A.All of our available specials are viewable from the website. If you have any questions regarding specials, please feel free to call us.

Q.How long does a rental agreement take?

A.Although we can’t determine if there will be a wait, we can say that most rental agreements take under 20 minutes. At the time of rental, we require that you bring a state issued ID or drivers license. There are no hidden fees of any kind. The only requirement is rent and a one time set up fee of $10 dollars.

Q.When will my rent be due?

A.All rents are due on the 1st of every month. However, we offer a 10 day grace period before any late penalty fees are added.

Q.How long do I have to be contracted for?

A.All contracts are offered on a month to month basis. If you are vacating your unit, the only thing we require is a written 10 day vacate notice. This helps us inform other potential renters that we may have something available for them soon.

Q.How do I know what size I need?

A.We offer sizes ranging from 5x5, which is the size of a small closet, all the way to 12x40, which could potentially store a boat, RV or large home full of belongings. You can also use our Size Guide to estimate the storage unit size you neesd. We are always more then happy to give you a view of what we have available to help you decide.

Q.What moving supplies might I need?

A.This of course will depend on what you are storing. We offer moving supplies here, including boxes, mattress and furniture covers, tape, bubble wrap, and foam. If you are storing a vehicle, you may want to put something beneath in case of an oil leak.
